Mahtab Firouzabadi
Mahtab Firouzabadi is a North Vancouver-based artist of Iranian descent.
Completing her high school degree in Germany, she returned to Iran and pursued her passion in both art and language, completing her Bachelors in art and Masters in Art—with a focus in art education—at the Iranian Azad University.
She also continued her studies in Fine Arts programm in Vancouver at Emily Car University from 2014 to 2016, and has been an avid painter and Art educator since 2000.
Also she is certified in contemporary art history, Art & Color Therapy.
Mahtab is an experienced art instructor dedicated to inspiring and guiding students in their artistic endeavors and can bring a unique blend of artistic expertise and teaching skills to the classroom.
Bringing 20 years of teaching experience, Mahtab creates a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students can explore their creativity, develop technical skills, and cultivate their artistic vision and encourages students to embrace experimentation and self-expression in their artistic practice.
In Mahtab classes, students can expect a blend of traditional techniques and contemporary approaches, fostering a comprehensive understanding of art across different mediums. Whether teaching drawing, painting, mix media and collage or other forms of visual arts, she emphasizes artistic fundamentals while encouraging individual growth and exploration.

Mahtab is fluent in 3 languages and teaches painting in Farsi, German and English to her student.
